Terms of Service
Last updated: May 29, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Inputly mobile app and website (together, the “Service”) provided by Inputly (“Inputly,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Inputly is a public feedback platform where people share feature requests and report issues for the products they use, and vote on and discuss the feedback of others.
By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Your account
You can create an account using a one-time email code or by signing in with Google or Apple. You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account and for keeping your login method secure. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account. You may delete your account at any time.
3. Your content
What you post
“User Content” means anything you submit to the Service, including inputs (ideas and issues), comments, votes, product and brand information, images, and your profile details. You retain ownership of your User Content.
License you grant us
By submitting User Content, you grant Inputly a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, modify (for example, to format or resize), publish, and display that content in connection with operating, promoting, and improving the Service. This license ends when you delete your User Content, except to the extent it has been shared with others who have not deleted it, or where retention is required by law or for legitimate backup, security, or legal purposes.
Your responsibility
You are solely responsible for your User Content and represent that you have the rights necessary to submit it and that it does not violate these Terms or any law or third-party rights.
Public nature
The Service is designed to be public. Most User Content — including inputs, comments, votes, and your profile — is visible to other users and to visitors of our website, and may be indexed by search engines. Do not post anything you expect to keep private or confidential.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to do any of the following:
- Post content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, defamatory, threatening, obscene, or that infringes anyone’s rights.
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
- Post spam, advertising, scams, or manipulate votes, rankings, or other engagement metrics.
- Upload viruses or malicious code, or attempt to disrupt, overload, or impair the Service.
- Access the Service using automated means (scraping, bots) except as expressly permitted by us.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
- Collect or harvest other users’ data, or violate the privacy of others.
- Use the Service to violate any applicable law or regulation.
5. Moderation and enforcement
We want Inputly to be a safe, useful community. Content may be reviewed automatically (including by third-party AI services) and/or by our team. We may remove or restrict content, and suspend or terminate accounts, that we believe violate these Terms or our community standards, at our discretion and without notice. We are not obligated to monitor User Content but may do so.
6. Feedback about products and brands
Inputly lets users reference and discuss third-party products and brands. Product and brand names, trademarks, and logos are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification and commentary. Inputly is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by those owners unless expressly stated. User Content reflects the views of the users who post it, not those of Inputly.
7. Our intellectual property
The Service itself — including its software, design, branding, and the “Inputly” name and logo — is owned by Inputly and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for its intended purpose, subject to these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Service without our permission.
8. Third-party services and links
The Service relies on third-party providers and may contain links to third-party websites or resources. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third party. Your use of third-party services is governed by their terms and policies.
9. App stores
If you download our app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, your use is also subject to that store’s terms. Where Apple’s standard licensed application terms apply, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Inputly (not Apple), that Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the app, and that Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms entitled to enforce them.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that User Content is accurate, reliable, or complete. You use the Service at your own risk.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Inputly and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us to use the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or USD $100.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Inputly and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your User Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or any law or third-party rights.
13. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice, including if we believe you have violated these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as content licenses for content others have shared, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification) will survive.
14. Changes to the Service and these Terms
We may modify or discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Utah, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
